How do you buy bitcoin and how can it be kept safely?
How can I buy bitcoin and store it in a safe place? I'm not at all technical when it come to PCs and coding. But I have a rising interest for digital currencies. There's a strong gut feeling telling me that these will really change the world far beyond just finance - just like the internet did. Can people actually get bitcoin and take care of secure storing by themselves - or do people who use bitcoin need to know how to code and use scripting? I'd be very interested should there be recommendations or tutorials to follow for learning how to buy bitcoin. I would be very grateful for any advice.
I'm wondering because I'm building a medium-long term portfolio and buying coins on my watch list on the dips. I generally buy with localbitcoins or bitquick and pay 1-2% tax, but I have to deposit a bank and get it credited, it can take 2 hours or so and I can miss the entry. I was looking for options of being able to buy bitcoin online with low fees (in US, with USD). Any suggestions? Best I'm looking st right now is gemini but I have been waiting 3 weeks for verification, and coinbase via debit card 4% tax)
I have always heard that in part Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are completelly anonymous. But most of the exchanges that allow you to buy with CC ask you for verification, bar CoinMama under 150$. Is there any way of doing it completelly anonymous? I have seen bitit Epay Ewallet has a fee of 2.5% on Epay Ewallet. But I am not sure if it is a scam since I never heard. Any advice guys?
Employers: after hiring someone how do you buy bitcoin with a credit card or paypal and pay them promptly?
I have been working a fair bit through upwork with Indian freelancers. After the recent events with demonetization I've had two contractors asking for payments through bitcoin. I don't understand why since upwork hardly pays them in cash. Since both have offered good discounts for payment in bitcoin I thought why not give it a go. Can I ask for your recommendations on how to buy bitcoin with a credit card or paypal, and which are are the best sites for instant purchases & why do you use them? Much appreciated.

Same for Gemini Tried Zebpay but it won't let me download the app in US. Downloaded apk from some shady site but again it won't send the OTP to a US number. How do you buy bitcoins from other countries? ( Not US , EU countries )
Hello I would like to buy bitcoins, however since I am from Maldives. I am having one hell of a tough time. So at first I gave coinbase a try, it does not support any bank/ card. Tried circle, the same result. And checked out the others with the same result. Then I decided to give Skrill and Neteller a try. Skrill is a complete fraud( says it's global even though it does not support many countries ). Neteller, however did support adding funds from the debit card. So once that's done. I wanted to buy bitcoins from neteller. Now that was a complete disaster. At localbitcoins, the transfer rate from neteller to bitcoin was around 800USD per BTC, even though the rate is 400USD per BTC now. Then there is VirWox, I am not sure how that works. So I am completely stuck for the time being. Anyone know where i can buy bitcoins?
Since the trading services have an age limit of 18 years old, how would i buy bitcoins? I don't have a bank card, but I could buy a Spendon card (Like a debit card, but pre loaded) and use that, I think? To be honest, its all just confusing. I thought that I maybe could make a smart investment :P Cheers from a swedish 13-year old!
I've tried coinbase, indacoin, coinjar, coinhouse, and coinmama. Mind you these were all the top search results for "buy bitcoin with a debit card" and "buy bitcoin in the us". So far I've given all of them my name, address, telephone number and email address. I gave indacoin my debit card information. They said it was rejected but there is money on it. On the page it says "enter your credit or debit card" and then on the form it just says "enter your credit card". I don't know. There is clearly a lot of bullshit going on and now everyone in the world knows I want to buy bitcoin. Hey, is it actually possible to buy bitcoin in the United States? If I ever do, unlikely, will all of my transactions be linked back to the site I finally managed to buy bitcoin from? Pretty sure I'm just gonna get on craigslist and find someone I can give actual money to for bitcoin.
